It has to do with many things.
1. how long you have been a member
2. How many posts you have.
3. How many rep points have been given to you.

I think how much you rep other people might have something to do with it too, but can't say for sure.

I mean, the more I rep people, the more rep power I get. I only say this because I've noticed that I'd rep someone and then my power went up one. It's happened a couple of times, so I just assumed that it's one of the reasons the power goes up.

I didn't get an increase in post counts for just repping someone.
