The Lancet Gets Down On Trump

The Lancet is getting political and telling all how they feel about how the pandemic is being handled.

"Trump and his allies, The Lancet laments in its editorial, are expecting a quick and easy solution to a difficult health crisis. His administration, according to The Lancet, “is obsessed with magic bullets: vaccines, new medicines or a hope that the virus will simply disappear. But only a steadfast reliance on basic public health principles — like test, trace and isolate — will see the emergency brought to an end, and this requires an effective national public health agency. The CDC needs a director who can provide leadership without the threat of being silenced and who has the technical capacity to lead today’s complicated effort.”

Americans must put a president in the White House, come January 2021, who will understand that public health should not be guided by partisan politics.

Today, my wife and I decided to go to the river here in Floor E Da and eat at a seafood restaurant that has opened to dine in. While we were eating we watched some of the boats come in so they too can partake of the great seafood. There was a fleet of these guys out today showing their support for a president who will fight against the Commies of America.

So 1 guy with a 16 ft boat is a fleet?

Ha HA. Like Democrats aren't treating it partisanly, right ? :puhleeze:

The Lancet is among the top rated medical journals in the world, if not the top rated medical journals in the world. Hardly a partisan publication. Trump sucks, and they found it necessary to comment on how that is causing unnecessary deaths.

Where are their comments on Cuomo who killed thousands?

There are plenty of articles making that claim on the conspiracy theory sites.

:puhleeze: It's as partisan as anybody else/. All it takes is one person writing something to put out a bash. Doesn't mean everyone there thinks that.

Everything published there is peer reviewed. Politics doesn't enter the picture.

I laugh

Of course you do. Insane people often laugh for no particular reason.

Don't care. Tell your therapist if you think it is important.

Good! Most of libtard posts belong on that page too.

Mortality rate of Covid 19 in the US --- 5.9%

Mortality rate of Covid 19 in the UK --- 14%

The Brits shouldn't be criticizing President Trump ... they should be begging him for help.
And both should be begging Australia for help..

Australia's death rate is currently:

  • More than 100 times lower than France
  • Nearly 100 times lower than the United Kingdom
  • 50 times lower than the United States
  • 20 times lower than Germany
  • 60 times lower than Switzerland
  • 20 times lower than Denmark
  • 12 times lower than Norway

Thanks for the laughs. If Democrats hadn’t made it political, you might of had a point however, both sides are all about politics and nothing about health, welfare, the economy, it is all politics. All partisan assholes such as yourself should sit down, shut up and let the adults take care of things.

In January if we have elected either Trump or Biden, it will be another sad four years, heading down the wrong path.

To the best of my knowledge, Australia is a sparsely populated island where all the flora and fauna are trying to kill you anyway.

COVID is the least of their problems.

No. The facts are all that count. They would have been presented no matter which party was screwing up so bad.
Yes. The OP and its source are a Trump bash. Facts ? They could have congratulated the Trump administration on their Jan 22 briefing to Congress on the virus (at which only a few showed up, while everyone was consumed by the impeachement fiasco)

You mean his Jan 22 remarks where he said the virus was completely under control, and he laughed at the possibility that it would ever become a pandemic or the Jan 24 statement where he praised China for being so in control of the situation and praising them for their transparency in the situation? Is that what you think he should be congratulated for?

Based on the info provided by ‘experts‘. What were you advising on Jan 22?

That it was a very contagious virus and there was cause for concern. Certainly wasn't praising China and saying there was going to be no problem.
