The Iran war has created some fascinating geopolitical realignments

A decade ago, it would have been laughable to think that the Gulf states would effectively be Israel’s allies while the UK and EU
would have abandoned the U.S.

Currently, while what’s happening in Iran is not a “declared” war, we are engaged in the first truly modern, balls-to-the-wall war we’ve been in maybe since WWII. It’s useful to contemplate why the next few days and weeks may change an international stalemate that’s been in place for the better part of 75 years, and how it could change everything from now on. One of the most fascinating things to see is the realignment of once-allied Middle Eastern nations and actual geopolitical enemies.
The first important thing to note is that, under Trump, winning is back in favor, although not everyone is in favor of winning. There are two major, unpersuadable groups that are seeking to stop the war in Iran:
A. Iran, China, Russia, North Korea, and maybe Turkey.
B. The Democrats
(The Alt-Right, led by people such as Tucker Carlson, also doesn’t want us to win this war, but they are, for now, still a fringe movement.)
Both major groups share the same concern: they fear a powerful, successful America that challenges their own power. This bears repeating: Democrats and our enemies seek to weaken America and box it in for their own purposes. Therefore, Democrats and our enemies are allies! All of them hate Trump and see him and his followers as threats to their power—and they are right!
However, there is a third group that is moving in America’s direction: Europe. Even as national leaders speak out against the war, their non-Muslim citizens support it, and some of the leaders do, too.
Europe’s problem is that it has too many Muslims. Current estimates are that there are 46 million Muslims in Western Europe or the UK, most of whom arrived in the last decade. This amounts to roughly 6% of the total population, mostly concentrated in major urban areas, including capital cities
~Snip~
In the meantime, members of the unassimilated 46 million repeatedly demonstrate their willingness to engage in acts of terror and defiance and are closely aligned with other pan-European groups on the left. The inevitable result is things such as Spain’s outright refusal to allow anything that looks like cooperation, and Starmer’s initial refusal to allow us to use our major base at Diego Garcia. These, of course, are red lines that Trump won’t let stand.
Even as European leaders are too afraid of their Muslim populations to wholeheartedly support America and oppose Iran, the great irony is the change in the Gulf States. Most have U.S. bases and, historically, in true Arab marketplace tradition, tended to play one side against the other.

The Gulf states’ newfound backbone doesn’t bode well for Iran, which has spectacularly overplayed its hand. The U.S. is in the process of dusting off its virtually unlimited stockpile of dumb bombs, putting JDAM tails on some of them, and then hauling them in B-52s and B-1s over Iran to start dismantling what’s already akin to an auto salvage yard.
Finally, China and Russia both have a new sense of the difference between them and us. They can hope for another Jimmy Carter or Joe Biden (perish the thought), but God willing, we will have entered a new age that demonstrates to the American people and the world that we don’t have to live with evil and that America can restore peace and justice to a world that has sorely missed it.

Commentary:
It is another kinetic geological happening that is going to last 21 days and perhaps affect international shipping for 3 months. The meme is that would take the EU 6 weeks just to set the terms of the peace meeting, to discuss the meeting timeframe will take 6 months.
We will soon hear leaks from the pentagon and IDF by next week that they have run out of targets, and that they do not want to use dumb gravity bombs, from B52 dump trucks because that isn't fun or humane.
The mostly ignored Abraham Accords are in reality, a very good thing for the ME. But, like EVERYTHING he does, Trump won’t get any credit for the successes of the agreement so far. I’m certain he could care less as long as it moves the needle towards peace and cooperation in the region.
Meanwhile, the “impending war” with China has been set back another decade, while the Chinese government likes to saber rattle, the Chinese economy needs a series of low cost gateway nations to the rest of world to push product through, because very few want to deal with the fucktards who control import/export at the great wall of stupid.
Democrats don’t care. A nuked Israel would be fine with 56 of them. Rand Paul and Massie, only care that we’re living up to our principles, reality be damned. That’s the world we are living in today. Crazy isn’t it?
The present problem for Europe is their fear and avoidance of ANY war, which they thought was the solution until WWII.
Problem is, the trouble-causing gangsters never went away, and being pacifist just plays into their hands, as they’re finding out with Russia.
Europe can still save themselves, if they find their balls, stop the wimpification of their culture, and start getting serious about defending their countries.
First they must cleanse themselves of the onslaught of Muslims.

Now Tucker is "alt-right"?!?

thafuq.webp

Or, and just as bad, a Large L libertarian.
He's not even that.

He isn't owned by anyone anymore, and perfectly free to call them like he sees them...Even if it burns the butts of worshipers of the Orange God Emperor and his Likud party string pullers.

"Alt Right" is just another word that liberals have created to conjure up dopamine hits for themselves as they project their fantasy of some hillbilly with a rifle shooting up a crowd. Has no meaning but that doesn't stop libs from screaming it.....just like racist racist racist. Blah blah blah.

I’m truly sick and tired of Tucker.
And he's equally sick and tired of the continued bait-and-switch, being played by someone who is doing (or not doing such as the case may be) nearly everything he promised.

Trump is doing his utmost to be an even bigger insult and embarrassment than Chimpy Bush was.

The whole ''identity politics'' gambit really only serves to keep people and dialogue dumbed down as much as possible, rendering any important and relevant dialogue unable to advance beyond your standard, low value pecker waving contest among the masses.

Once again, I disagree.

Tucker is simply not a credible person.

Further, as I’ve said before, it’s ok to be critical of President Trump. I mean it is somewhat true that he hasn’t done all he said he would accomplish. But …

He did effectively shut down the border with Mexico to the flood of illegals. And he has directed a concerted effort to have many illegals removed. This doesn’t even count the self deportations that have flowed from his policies.

He has also moved (geopolitical speaking) out nation away from the reckless administration of guys like Potato and Obummer.

And at every step along the way he has been rabidly attacked by the left and the media (same thing frankly) and the vermin of the DNC.

WHY? Because he has said and believes that the USA has a right to a more level playing field. And he has made moves accordingly.

I support the efforts to deny the rabid Iranian Islamofascist regime any nuclear weaponry. Doing that has come with pain. No question. But the American people are absolutely going to be much safer because of it.

I was reading a couple articles that the current generation is the dumbest in the history of the planet. These are the new leaders. If there is any evidence, just look at our own govt. There is no cream rising to the top.

There's no doubt about it.

What is worse, however, is that people who know better participate in the coercion and voluntarily help it to remain that way.

Actually the Middle East and the World will be much safer when the dust settles.
Bonus is the theocracy will be out of power in Iran and the nation might actually return to the 21st century.

UK is a nation of cowards.
Over the years we have had a special relationship with the U.K. that we are there for each other. Today, a pundit raised that up and this does not make the U.K. look good.

It is rather interesting that Iran is bombing like 14 other Arab countries since the US and Israel attacked Iran. That aught to make Iran some friends.
