I don’t where you live but my city is safe as well as the many others I been through recently. Maybe get a job and move to a better neighborhood.

I guess Vegas, all those giant amusement parks in Florida, and Yellowstone are now hellholes.

Homelessness is a growing problem; but that not is the reason for falling tourist revenue. Canadians brought hundreds of millions, if not, billions into the US and that revenue is plunging like a stone. I know you may not care, but there are many thousands, if not tens of thousands, that do.
