The idiots of Mexico and China are responsible for 200k U.S deaths due to their poisons, Canada is hit with a tariff too now because of them

I suspected a global tariff of 10% by Trump and a bigger one for China. There is no doubt that Mexico and China have purposely been lax and are in effect engaging in war and murder against Americans through these poisons. The tariffs against Canada if related to Human Right abuses, especially in Ontario; would be more valid than the fentanyl argument he made. As such I think Trump is generating revenue to pay down U.S debt and for tax cuts when he applies them to Canada but I digress. He could probably generate between $600B and $1T over the next four years with such tariffs against Mexico and Canada. If he used it to pay down debt,.along with say $4T in total expenditure cuts in the U.S, he could make a meaningful impact on U.S debt. As it were, Mexico and China are far greater threats,.our problem in Canada is our covert apparatus who meddle in businesses and in the lives of citizens and to which Canadian poltiicians have ignored, not even aware how harmful they have been to our relations with the U.S.
Tariffs get ordinary Americans to pay down the majority of the debt, instead of those benefitting the most, the oligsrchs.

US Citizens Were 80 Percent of Crossers with Fentanyl at Ports of Entry from 2019 to 2024

Eliminating Immigration Won’t End Fentanyl Smuggling

Many people believe that simply eliminating immigration is an easy answer to the overdose crisis in the United States, but these numbers cast cold water on this strategy.

In fact, the overdose crisis worsened significantly during the years when legal and illegal immigration were greatly restricted (Figure 5). In 2020, when immigration of all types was radically restricted by President Trump, fentanyl overdose deaths increased by 56 percent.

They spiked another 22 percent in FY 2021 when President Biden maintained Trump’s restrictions on legal entry and attempted to enforce his Title 42 asylum ban.

One can say Ttump is all for killing American citizens. Just look at thr data.

the game is afoot, there are increased prices all around, MAGATs love inflation under Trump.
/——/ MAGAs love a strong president who fights for America. Libtards love a weak president who lets other countries walk all over us.

You're.not making Mexicans poorer with tariffs, you sre making businesses who import into America pay a fee which will decrease their profits. If they dont want that they can move to Amefica or pass it on to Americans who can decide if the want to pay that new price. The U.s can use.some of this generated revenue to deal with your border and the illegal poisons.

Are you kidding me? You think tariffs only decrease their profits?

With a 25% tariff on all goods, this won't just eat into profits. They'll jack up the prices significantly. Tractors seem to be one of the biggest import items. So, prices of tractors will skyrocket. Maybe farmers can do without new tractors for a while.

Essentially supply chains will have problems for a long time, prices will increase on US made goods as people smell the chance to make more profit, the people who will lose will be the consumer as everything costs more.

They can move to the US, pay higher wages, things will cost more. Either way, the people at the bottom will pay more for things, and will find the cost of living increase massively.

The idiots who intentionally put that shit in their bodies are responsible for their own actions

Oh, now we're back to this argument. Sometimes Republicans thing people are responsible for their own actions, sometimes they think they're not. It's very confusing.

/—-/ A farmer buys a tractor once every 10 years or so. Folks buy groceries every week.

We need to hit Canada with a 100% tariff if we are to destroy their economy and country as quickly as possible.

CEOs were already jacking up prices even when there were zero supply chain issues. They just did it because they could. They told us publically and without any shame.

/—-/ And if you could jump jobs for a 25% pay raise, would you take it? No difference.

Yes, put up prices until others undercut you, it leads to a supply and demand balance.

That's completely different to what is happening now.

Sorry for my being callous, but of all the people who deserve my sympathy, the ones who died of a fentanyl overdose are on the bottom of my list.

And the rich bastards in Malibu (or wherever) whose houses burned down are a close second.

Alcohol at its worst is not as bad as drugs

I beg to differ.

Alcohol is equally bad. It is, after all, a drug.

Furthermore, no one has ever died from heroin withdrawal. But alcohol withdrawal can be quite fatal.

There's a reason the AA types pump the alkys full of caffeine and sugar. It's because the sugar keeps the blood pressure up, and if they go to sleep they get seizures.

Alcohol addiction is a very bad thing. The DT's are only the beginning of it. If you go to a doctor he'll give you librium and dilantin. And even with that, you'll still be in trouble.

AA's may shoot me for saying this, but if you're a serious alcohol addict it may be better for you to withdraw slowly, rather than going cold turkey. Medically, you stand a better chance of survival, and of course it should be done in a supervised setting like a hospital or a licensed rehab.
