Correct, nothing but isolation can do that. but they do slow down the transmission rates.

Governor Abbot was acting like a neanderthal. Modern humans see more than a week into the future when determining their actions. Texas just went through the great blackout, which forced Texans to huddle together for warmth. There is undoubtedly going to be an uptick in covid cases over the next few weeks.
Add to that, the texas blackout caused vaccinations to come to a halt, putting texas as one of the lowest in vaccination rates.

To that Abbot decided to reopen all businesses without restrictions, and dropped all mask requirements?

That's the formula for a texas pandemic.

Divisive Joe uses childish name calling in public instead of a private phone call.

Most divisive POTUS award to go from Obama to Biden.

And piddle your pants outside of Texas.

You supported the orange clown who did the same thing on Twitter.

You have no standing.

Thanks to Newsom and Cuomo ordering young sick people into nursing homes.
Too bad you have no evidence that caused any deaths. But hey, you trumpov cultists aren't real big on evidence.
We have plenty of evidence. That would be "the SCIENCE!" that you leftists keep pretending to care about. You yourself just got done saying in your previous post: ". . . it is a highly contagious virus for which we have no immunity". Your words. And every health organization from WHO and the CDC on down - plus the statistics themselves - tell us that the elderly and the sickly are the most vulnerable. But NOW, your "SCIENCE!"-loving ass wants to tell us we have "no proof" that putting people with this "highly contagious virus for which we have no immunity" into nursing homes, which by definition are filled with the elderly and the sickly, caused any deaths. Yeah, all those people in NY nursing homes who died and have "Covid-19" written on their death certificates, that's just a coincidence.

Please tell us again, why is it that you are still wandering around and using up oxygen that could go to someone who is useful?

Yes, no science says putting sick infectious young people in with elderly people will cause transmission of the virus.

People in Texas and Mississippi and all the other Republican run states need to stay within their borders. These idiots are going to reinvigorate COVID throughout the entire country.
People in "safe and smart" lockdown states need to stop fleeing to Republican states. You probably haven't noticed around your gigantic and thoroughly-unearned ego, but no one actually WANTS to come to your fucking states. Do you actually think anyone's going, "Here at home, I can go about my life and send my kids to school and work to earn a living. Man, do I need to run off to someplace where I have to lock myself indoors all day and wear a face diaper!"

You can sit on your ass doing nothing but waiting for a government check until you wither away. Knock yourself out. No one will miss you, or even remember that you existed.

Buh-bye.

“Is the CDC afraid of how the public will react to the guidelines? You may recall that Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted in December that he had slowly and steadily changed his assessments about herd immunity, based upon what he thought the public could handle hearing. How Much Herd Immunity Is Enough?

In the pandemic’s early days, Dr. Fauci tended to cite the same 60 to 70 percent estimate that most experts did. About a month ago, he began saying “70, 75 percent” in television interviews. And last week, in an interview with CNBC News, he said herd immunity would require, “75, 80, 85 percent” and “75 to 80-plus percent.” CNBC Transcript: Dr. Anthony Fauci Speaks with CNBC's Meg Tirrell Live During the CNBC Healthy Returns Livestream Today

In a telephone interview the next day, Dr. Fauci acknowledged that he had slowly but deliberately been moving the goalposts. He is doing so, he said, partly based on new science, and partly on his gut feeling that the country is finally ready to hear what he really thinks.”

"Gut feeling?"

I'm okay opening up but with masks. No masks is a dumb idea.
If you think a t shirt over your head protects you from a virus, nobody is suggesting you can’t.
I have been going all over the place without a mask when it is an option, and i still havent been able to find the Kung Flu. Or if i did, then my kick ass immune system just shrugged it off.
Reminds me of idiot drivers.
Drive like fools for years depending on the skill and experience of other drivers to keep them alive.
Then, one day, they meet another idiot on the road and...Darwin at work.
You should be thankful for the people around you who've kept you safe the last 12 months.
But, keep going and you'll find that other "driver."
You keep that t shirt over your head, and don’t go near a Red State. Your blue states may be filled with the dying, but it’ll feed your panic Porn addiction.
Well aren't you just the cutest little Neanderthal! Imagining your little rant amounts to actual thinking. Now don't you worry your tiny little brain over that extinction thing. You won't be around to celebrate.
Welcome Russian newbie Welcome!
And the caveman caucus chimes in.

New York became the epicenter because so many people from all over the world, wanted to go to New York.

Now you claim the opposite. Epic Fail on your part.

The virus is mutating. There are now over half a dozen more virulent strains, and growing. The vaccines are also becoming less effective against the new strains. That combined means you need more people vaccinated to achieve the same goal as when fighting a less virulent strain of the virus, with more effective vaccines.
