What good is the EU, if the members of the EU can't count on it in times of crisis? Merkel really needs to be providing for their Italian allies in the alliance.

A lot of criticism is rightfully given to Merkel's predecessor during the 1940's, Mr. Hitler. But I'll tell you this much, when Italy was in trouble in 1943, he sent the German army into the peninsula to help him out and even sent a top man, Skorzeny, to rescue Italy's Duce.

Merkel isn't doing as much as Hitler did.

Only China responded bilaterally because China is spending billions of dollars in Italy, for some reason. That's more than likely the reason there are so many cases in Italy.
