People aren't voting 'before the virus'. They voted AFTER Trump's inept mismanagement, after his abysmal response, after the 250,000 Americans died, AFTER massive job losses, after the economy had been damaged, and AFTER the highest unemployment rate ever recorded since they started keep records after WW2.
Why would they magically forget all of this.....just because you try and pretend it never happened?
They wouldn't. And 80,000,000 didn't.
If Trump is responsible for the 260K dead because of the virus, is DumBama responsible for the over 200K dead due to the common flu during his two terms? Why didn't he warn us, tell us to go out in public with masks, why didn't he ever encourage us to take flu shots? Trump never had that option.
So what was Trump's "abysmal" response?
Oh, let me count the ways. Trump lying to the American public about the threat.
Trump pushing drugs unproven to treat COVID.
Trump faiing to delegating vital duties of our COVID response to seasoned professionals with decades of experience rather than his son-in-law.
Trump utterly failing to offer consistent messaging on the safety precautions that work. Like masks and social distancing.
Trump failing to leading by example.
Trump failing to lead at all. We lost 2300 people yesterday alone. We're averaging more than 1500 deaths a day. That's a 911 every 48 hours. And Trump is obsessed with tweeting election conspiracy theories, barely giving COVID a moment of its notice.
Trump promoting conspiracy theorists spouting nonsense about 'demon semen' in Presidential communications and the RNC?
Trump holding massive 'mask optional' super spreader events that put even TRUMP into the ICU.
Trump failing to prepare, like stocking up our national reserves of PPE equipment.
Trump spreading conspiracy theories about the virus.
Trump failing to provide cohesive national policy to combat the virus.
Trump actively trying to undermine confidence in our healthcare experts.
Trump failing to even attending a COVID task force meeting in the last 5 months.
151 out of 164 nations have a better record on COVID than we do. Clearly, better respones than our horrid failure can be done.
And you insist that all the voters have to ignore that? And the 250,000 dead. And the business losses. And the massive unemployment. And the economic damage?
Um, no. 80 Million people clearly disagree. As does Donald Trump:
But tell us again how Trump isn't responsible?
Trump was a terrible candidate and a failure as a president. He deserved to lose.
