Yeah. You kids have been bred to be lazy authoritarians.
Dont know what will happen when all of you useless deadweights start arguing over who has to do all the work and who gets to sit on their fat asses jerking off to anime porn all day.

Au contraire, Harley it’s the adults who have turned into lazy totalitarians. All of the income is going to the shareholders and nothing to the workers.

The kids are being paid shit wages because of wage stagnation to funnel money to the Boomers’ and the 30% of workers who have access to 401K’s.

A college degree, the ticket to the middle class, no comes with a price tag so high Those graduating are now living in their parents basement for 10 years to pay for it. They cannot afford to buy or rent a home of their own much a car, furniture, much less start a family until that debt is paid.

You do know Gay Marriage is legal, right?

...?

As in, the old white people that hated it died, and now it's a thing.

Gay marriage is legal in the Country of the United States Of America??

link?

Let's not talk about old white people --- they currently run the USA

Yeah, really old senile people.

The GOP is the party of yesteryear.

This is what comes of allowing fools like you to get away with never having to learn history. For all that you believe you're wise and evolved and original and "the future", you're really just a sad retread of a story that's been repeated numerous times. And they all thought they were wiser and more evolved and "the future", too.
My fine feathered bird friend, do you agree with the NR's characterization of what makes a conservative?

Yup, we had a golden age of Unionization and employee rights

But it's been so long...politicians have been shredding those rights for 60 or 70 years until there's almostnothing left.

Oh, please. There was no "golden age" about it, which is why union labor comprises maybe 5% of the workforce now. I know your masters have told you to "know" that's because politicians have "shredded those rights", and like the obedient and not-very-bright dog you are, you licked their hands and ran off to bark whatever they said. In fact, it was the workers themselves who decided they didn't want to work under the aegis of union leadership that was all about demanding dues and using them to build their own power.
Most unions are bastions of nepotism and cronyism.

Bingo. And they differ with us on wedge issues like race and gender, as well as even what defines interpersonal commitment in some instances.

What have you learned from the history of the last 40 years of Republican economic crashes? Apparently you have learned absolutely nothing because you keep voting Republican.

You sit at your keyboard and lecture others about learning from history. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry?

How’d those Trump tax cuts work out for you? The deficit skyrocketed and the economy crashed.

How’d W’s tax cuts work out for you? The deficit skyrocketed and the economy crashed.

How’d Reagan’s tax cuts worked out for you? The deficit skyrocketed and the economy crashed.

Who is not learning from history bitch?

Biden is Humble, honest, empathetic, self effacing, compassionate, kind and thoughtful. All of which are the direct opposite of Trump, who is a self serving, vindictive, cruel, retaliatory, corrupt and dishonest.

Biden, honest? Really?

Do you really believe that a humble, empathetic, compassionate, kind, and thoughtful leader is able to stand his ground with world leaders like President Putin? As you know, Biden has already caved to Putin and Putin has blocked two ports in Ukraine.

If Biden is humble, empathetic, compassionate, kind, and thoughtful, why is our Southern border such a disaster area with thousands of unaccompanied children being sent all over the country?

I'm uncomfortable with anyone lumping Reagan W and Trump in the same "conservatism."

Yup. Most kids are socialist till they grow up and have to support themselves their vehicles, houses and families. Then they smarten up and become conservative cause everything costs them and no one but them will be paying for it. They sure don't want to be supporting the freeloading lazy asses. LOL

How did the tax cuts work out? Revenues to the IRS increased and unemployment dropped to historic levels especially among blacks and other minorities. Low-income workers also saw greater increases in their wages than did upper-income workers, closing the gap for the first time in modern history.

You're just being foolish in your childish attempt to ignore Communist China unleashing COVID-19 on the world. Is that being honest or do you care?

YET the NR OP point was that Gen Y does not appear to follow that model.

Millennials and Generation Z show no sign of growing more conservative over time like the Boomers did. We must address the age gap.

The GOP has a problem, and it MIGHT be because they haven't had a good President since *checks notes*

1992.

I was never a liberal/leftist. I've always considered "having a heart" to be another way to say "thinking with your glands".

When you get into your 40s (your generation is having kids later) I am GenX...and see that small Gov't is better than big Gov't many will switch their views. I am an Independent but my views now due to my job and kids are now more closely aligned with the GOP.

I tolerate the Republican Party. I identify as a conservative, and their STATED positions align most closely with mine; unfortunately, when it comes time to put words into action, my experience has always been that the GOP doesn't have a complete set of testicles among the whole sorry lot of them. I'm obviously not going to vote for someone who says right out that they're going to push for odious policies, but I'm not exactly thrilled with having no choice but to vote for people I know are a bunch of cowards who will cave to odious policies the minute the media calls them a name.

That may be the funniest thing I've read in a month. Although I started Queens Gambit this morning. But I've never heard of a heart being compared to a gland, literally or figuratively. LOL

Largely because our current society allows them to get away with not growing up and dealing with the responsibilities of the hard knocks in life. Reality gets everyone in the end, though.

I'm not talking about the actual, physical heart, which has nothing to do with what Churchill was saying. The heart he's talking about is the ability to emote and empathize. Emotions, biologically speaking, are just chemicals produced by your glands. They have a purpose, but it's not to take the place of thought and reason. So yeah, when someone tells you to "have a heart", they're saying "feel instead of think", or - as I put it - "think with your glands instead of your brain".

Ah yes, the "Victory by Attrition" idea. I remember hearing that the bulk of racists are old white guys. When they die out the racism would die out. The majority of homophobes are old white men. When they die out LGBT people will be accepted.

How is any of that working out so far?
You do know Gay Marriage is legal, right?

...?

As in, the old white people that hated it died, and now it's a thing.

Yes, I know it is a thing. And it is a thing that is not without serious opposition. There is still plenty of homophobic hate mongers out there.
Re-read your first post again.

You know, the one asking WHEN WILL GAY MARRIAGE BE LEGAL? I THOUGHT IT WAS THE OLD WHITE PEOPLE RUINING IT!?

Now realize the truth: It already is legal.

I recommend that you reread my first post. If for no other reason than to see I did not ask when gay marriage would be legal. In fact, I never mentioned gay marriage at all. I mentioned LGBT people being accepted.
It already is accepted. Gay marriage is legal, and LGBT rights are here now. Right now.

Hate to break it to you, but it's mostly just tolerated rather than accepted, because most Americans really don't care that much about what their neighbors do as long as it doesn't bother them. And you're so busy preening yourself about "We're forcing everyone to echo our agenda!" that you don't even realize that what's ACTUALLY happening is that you're building a backlash - in many ways an unwarranted one - against LGBT by the simple fact that you ARE bothering people with it. You and your cohorts are so drunk on the misperception that you're good and morally superior that you can't just accept tolerance and move on; you've got to try to demand that people applaud your agenda when it's paraded by. And you're so focused on "knowing things" from your talking points instead of knowing them from observation and experience that you won't even see it coming until it slams into you.

Repercussions from the deplorable and despicable behavior of Trump and his cohorts have barely had time to fester and the younger generation have already determined the Trump infection must be terminated and cured.
