The FCC would have an impossible hill to climb in order to pull the license of ABC, so it's an idle threat to squash the first amendment, however, could they choose not to approve a merger involving Nextstar, worth billions? Certainly, and that's how they'll use their leverage and power to silence voices they don't like.
