Funny stuff.Hasn't fallen yet but it's very close....
Between Georgia, Syria, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Sanctions, Banking, telephone and internet...
Troops surrendering or running in huge droves...
Putin is pulling out last ditch efforts to hold it all together.
No wonder Putin doesn't want to talk to him.Can we send Biden over to cement his legacy and negotiate Putin's surrender now....
After he shits himself all through the Kremlin???![]()
"Give the people enough food and circuses"....You're an optimist.
Reality is, both Russia and the US have an interest in keeping Assad in power.
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Trump using it as a bargaining chip. He's smart that way.
The Russian Ruble is in free fall. Gazprom had to stop buying Rubles....out of money.
The telephone networks are off.
The Russian Internet is off.
The banks have closed.
The last remaining year round port in Syria is about to fall too as Syria is falling and Assad is hiding out in Moscow. (Turkey gets that port and India is controlling the Black Sea).
Russian troops, not getting paid, are either running off or surrendering.
The famous "Dead Man Switch" is worthless as it is unlikely that the massive number of land based Nuclear Missiles are viable anymore as they once were 40 years ago. (Putin has NOT kept up with maintenance which is very expensive. The USA spends 50 billion each year to maintain ours....Putin spends that on his entire military...and not anything on his nukes)
So....
Forward looking problems:
Nuclear materials for sale on the black market to terrorist groups.
Russian mafia reforms
Worse leader than Putin rises to power in Russia.
China takes massive advantage of the situation and attacks Taiwan and sections of Russia.
What say you?
The Axis must be brought down to a weaken state. This is going to require the effort of all governments and citizens in the West.
I devour the news. I've not seen one report about this.
Just did a search on the fall of Russia--- Got nuttin' honey.
So much for a BRICs currency replacing the dollar.
Countries allied with the United States are licking their ass at the UN, neutral countries like India and China are looking for streamlined language not to offend the Americans.but they are a long way from collapsing.
That money is barely enough to upkeep the nukes on a sub or for warheads on a cruise missile....maybe a mix of some of both. But not for 6,000 warheads. Sorry, the math doesn't work. Materials are commodity priced even if you can conscript nuclear physicists...
And just because Russia has created a war economy to replace the massively overused and outdated equipment (like howitzers) the barrels on the armored equipment still needs replacing after being used the way it has been. (It will blow up otherwise as its being fired) That doesn't mean it's capable of refurbishing a significant portion of its nuclear arsenal.
And a submarine needs a port. The Syrian port is going to be lost....so that just leaves the North Sea....which ought to be pretty frozen by now until May. Good luck with that. I don't think Cyprus is going to allow Russian ships.
