I did a search, and what I did find was an article where his doctor stated that he didn't need surgery. The video is within this article, and where he says that is toward the end of the video:

So in other words Trump Knew the shooter would be there? and then that means that Joe Bidens Secret Service would have been in on it, because their blatant ineptness allowed him to access the roof and fire off 8 rounds.

I have never made any definitive claims about it one way or the other. But since you asked, the whole thing does seem sketchy to me.

I don't buy the theory that the deep state was trying to take him out. As I've said before on other threads, if the deep state wanted him dead, he would already be dead, and it would've happened a long time ago.

As for people who say it was staged, I'm not necessarily agreeing with them... But I do want to correct something that someone said earlier on the thread...It's not only leftists who are saying that. On X, a bunch of non-leftists that I follow (who are not Trump supporters) have said that, since not long after it happened. I would post their tweets... but it would only piss you guys off in a major way, and that is not what I want to do.
