1) The world's climate scientists are not "the Left". They have political positions all over the spectrum and, if they are good scientists, they are fully aware that the climate and global warming are not political issues at all.
2) Thousands of PhD scientists have published tens of thousands of articles supporting and/or accepting the validity of AGW. If you believe they are too stupid to see "smoke and mirrors", then you must believe yourself smarter than all of them. Somehow, I doubt you are correct in that belief.

Name me 3 liberal climate scientists. I think you will find that we don't know either way because in general, scientists don't speak to political issues. There is a tendency, of course, to think that any denier scientist must be a conservative and any scientists who accepts AGW is a liberal, but there is absolutely no reason to believe that and you'd be making a circular argument in any case.
