This is such a dumb thread.
I don't understand why the OP needs to link a Guardian straw man editorial Opinion piece characterizing this speech as "racist," and mischaracterizing the POTUS as pushing "ethnic cleansing," when the speech itself was just a disaster.
Why the need to lie?
I have read some pretty bad Guardian pieces, but his one has to be the worst. . . it would be better print this dreck in the Daily Kook TBH.
Trump is already president, he doesn't need to do shit like this. . it was done just for his own ego. Clearly he is bored working as president, it appears he liked both campaigning and doing the apprentice better than actually being president.
The comments on every source that covered this pointed out, that for a speech on affordability, this was awful.

The US ended immigration with few exceptions from 1924 until 1965
During that period most ethnic communities assimilated and tensions between groups subsided
Today the foreign born population is about 15% and ethnic tensions are rising

I would love to hear one person give me a logical reason why an illiegal immigrant can illegally cross the border, have a baby, and now that baby is somehow a US citizen? Why? Just because? What kind of immigration system would have a clause like that?
What is the logical reason for allowing tourists and illegal immigrants to just merely cross our border and have a baby in order to make it a US citizen? Did our founders put in an immigration UNO card just for funsies? I think not. I think you have to be a retard to interpret the wording of the Constitution like THAT.

Assimilation is the way. Cities live in diseased ways that are not. Ask the MOVE people in Philly as one tiny example. In row homes, throwing trash, garbage and diapers out into their backyards and alleys with no concern. The neighbors who allowed it then lamenting it.
