Revelations is a bit of fantasy literature that should never have been included in the Bible.

I have always questioned why several books were included in the OT, and Revelation is certainly one of them. The OT was designed by a committee, and I have read that there were various different schools of thought about what a belief in Jesus was supposed to involve and the members of this committee had a definite partisan viewpoint. There are so many writings that existed that didn't make it in.

That was about Nero.. He was dead of an assisted suicide, but people were so afraid that he would come back and restart the persecutions.. like reincarnation ... or that he would return in the form of another Emperor like Dominitan.

Jacob's trouble or Jacob's distress refers to the difficulties the Jewish people will face during the tribulation period... and they did suffer famine, disease and death.

Jeremiah's prophecy was about Cyrus the Great who returned the Jews from exile in Babylon to rebuild the temple.
