Ruben Verastigui, 29, received the 151-month sentence from U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta during a hearing held via video conference. Verastigui was a digital strategist for the RNC in 2017 and 2018, working on social media advertising for political committees backing former President Donald Trump.

At the time of Verastigui’s guilty plea, he admitted to possession of 152 videos and 50 images of child pornography and to receiving and distributing sexual depictions of children. The former GOP aide was snared in an investigation that focused on a ring of at least 18 people trading child pornography via a chat group on an unnamed website -- In November 2020, a Trump appointee at the Commerce Department, Adam Hageman, was arrested on charges he shared a child pornography video and commented on sexually abusing children."

However, this does bring up the larger question -- when is Hunter going to be sentenced to prison....if this Ruben guy can get 12 years in prison and he had only 150 videos of child porn on his laptop; how is it that Hunter Biden remains free, when we all know he had over 12,273 videos of child porn with he himself in half of those videos....why are we allowing the DOJ to protect Hunter Biden?? Why wasn't Hunter put in prison years ago? If the DOJ did their jobs just a few years ago, and arrested Hunter back then, we wouldn't be having a Biden presidency....What is happening to America?? How do you lose to pedophile??
