Unfortunately, binary thought processes appear to be baked into our culture, our society, and our politics. They have always existed, of course, but now they are essentially the best we seem to be able to do. Of all the behaviors and tendencies we're displaying, that may be the one thing that is most enabling and accelerating our decay.

Bad enough that this is happening right in front our noses. Worse is that many appear to be cheering it on. I may never be able to get my head around that.

I don't see how. I lost half my property value after the blacks moved in. This is not unique, it happens everywhere in the country. On the other side we have people of Hispanic descent that don't want to learn English. Now Spanish is required for many jobs, particularly in government and customer service. They are coming here to change our country, not be part of it. For the last 20 years we had to have bilingual signs and now voting ballots.

Getting rid of lo2e, via ranked-choice voting would alleviate this. But it may be too little, too late. We've been speeding down the other side since 9/11.

Not anecdotal at all. Over 50% of our murders are committed by only 7% of our population, and that is black males. Furthermore you can't name me one middle-class area where blacks moved in and crime didn't skyrocket. I'm not talking about 5% or 10%, I'm talking over half of the population.

Diversity and multi-culture only works for non-whites. It does not make us better, it makes us worse.
