Republicans hold 53 Seats, Democrats 45, and Independents 2. This is a vote involving the Budget so it will require 60 or more votes to pass. All Republicans but one voted in favor of the bill while all Democrats but one voted Against the bill while the two Independents split. That means 55 voted in favor while 45 said NO.
