Jan 6 was nothing more than a couple hundred true patriots protesting a tyrannical government that was previously taken over by neo-leftist neo-marxists hellbent on turning America into another Cuba or Maoist China. Symbolically it was like George Washington fighting off the British monarchy combined with the revolutionary communists of 1917. The Jan 6 patriots are the true heroes of this country and deserved much more than a pardon. BTW, I don't think there has been much attention on this, but another thing going on, if you can remember back a few years ago for a while there was this mad craze to destroy and tear down all kinds of statues around the country which had been erected to commemorate various notable historical figures of our past, many of those had been saved and, thanks to President Trump, they are now being restored to their previous locations so that folks can see and remember their history.
