A lot of the people who normally just voted democrat and didn't follow politics that closely were turned off by all the BS that came out of the democrap party ever since HRC lost. The latino vote is moving right at an accelerated pace and the black vote is gradually moving right. The straight white male vote has all left. I think the majority of people have finally realized that the democraps quietly became the establishment party that must use mindfuckery to manipulate people into voting for them. Only the weak-minded remain.

This has been a huge self-inflicted wound. The party lost its focus and embraced a weaponized version of PC/Identity Politics.

Now it's stuck. The one thing it has to do is admit it was wrong and re-focus, unless it's just too late. De-emphasize skin color and sexuality. Stop intimidating and punishing those who don't get in line. But if it does, it could lose a large part of its constituency.

I've watched a lot of discussions on the Left in which they discussed "what went wrong" and what they can do. Very few have been willing to even bring this up, because it has become so important to the party. It's like PC/Identity Politics is the party's "third rail".
