The DEI Strategy is Making Dems Own Unpopular Woke Issues

Dems can't escape "Kamala is for they/them, President Trump is for you".

2 Feb 2025 ~~ By Daniel Greenfield

The “Kamala is for they/them, President Trump is for you” ad was identified as the key winning campaign ad. Not so much because most Americans are opposed to transgender issues (though they are now) but because it highlighted an out-of-touch party obsessed with an issue of interest to 0.0001% of the country while most Americans wanted the party to address the economic pain they were feeling.
The New York Times has a poll highlighting much the same thing.
Many Americans say they do not believe the Democratic Party is focused on the economic issues that matter most to them and is instead placing too much emphasis on social issues that they consider less urgent.
Asked to identify the Democratic Party’s most important priorities, Americans most often listed abortion, L.G.B.T.Q. rights and climate change, according to a poll from The New York Times and Ipsos conducted from Jan. 2 to 10.
The issues that people cited as most important to them personally were the economy and inflation, health care and immigration, the poll found. The kinds of social causes that progressive activists have championed in recent years ranked much lower….
On lesbian, gay and transgender rights, people perceive the Democratic Party’s priorities as particularly misaligned with their own. Just 4 percent of Americans listed L.G.B.T.Q. issues as very important to them personally. But 31 percent said they were a Democratic Party priority.

The essence of a winning strategy is making the enemy fight on the turf most damaging to them.
Getting rid of DEI is a good thing, but making that into the focus of the clashes between Republicans and Democrats becomes vital for defining the Dem opposition to Trump and the GOP as ‘wokeness’.

Commentary:
Neo-Marxists Democrats don’t care about the economic needs of Americans. They want to rule by divide and conquer. Their woke agenda has been part of that, and it’s back firing on them.
We've been told by Hollywood that the Democrats were For the People which proves there's a large Grand Canyon Gap between the Hollywood Elitists and the American People.
Real Americans are in a recession, and have been since the 2020 gravy trains stopped.
I certainly hope Trump pulls the economy out its dive, but we should plan on what to do when the numbers are merely less negative than they are now.

Russia spent the greater part of the 20th century infiltrating the USA with Marxist BS.
Marxism ultimately FAILED in Russia in 1991.
Now, the American People have elected Trump to finally KILL MARXISM here once and for all.

Trump is stealing from you by selling worthless merch, giving big tax cuts to his billionaire buddies and making you pay more for stuff you need by imposing tariffs.

When your entire party is built on a Moral Panic, and that Moral Panic collapses, this is what happens.

The people embroiled in a Moral Panic can never recognize it, but that's exactly what it was. When it passes you look back and are astonished.

That sounds like the MAGA-Republican party!

Their entire campaign consisted of trying to scare people into believing 1) that whites are racist and blacks are oppressed, 2) that Trump is a Hitler-wannabe felon, and 3) that the Republicans will “destroy democracy.”

At the same time, they prioritized diversity over competence, illegals over citizens, Islamic terrorists over Jews, and criminals over law-abiders.

The smart half of American voters said “no mas!”

You don't know what DEI is.
Hiring based not on ability, or the content of your character, but based on skin color and how confused you are about your genitals.
‘HTH.

It's hard for them to wiesel out of this ownership.
