Yesterday I was on my way back from the Gallery. One of the cats was missing and the house was frantic. I get an emergency email from my guild president. Tomorrow is the cookie bakeoff! Don't forget your cookies.

I have no time for digging up recipes and assembling ingredients. I opted for shortbread cookies. No measuring, one bowl. Baked the shortbread, poured on a layer of melted caramel. Went to look for the cat. Poured on a layer of melted chocolate. Went to look for the cat.

Cookies won first prize.

Yes. Poor old guy. He's 15. He got a block away then started screaming. He has not left the electric blanket since he got home.

I have found that is most often the case, the simplest win. Make something out of the ordinary and you will never win.
