One slice of pizza is actually a good balance of carbs, fats and protein, and as the crust is very air-filled, it actually isn't as calorie dense as other foods.
It depends what you have put on it....I use lots of tomato sauce I make, herbs I grow and I make to dough myself to control how much if any of salts and oil goes into the crust...The oil is to make the crust crispy and dark.. So we usually have deep dish...and low fat mozzarella cheese, mushrooms and ham or pepperoni..which turkey version have a lower fat content..
