I don't think there is any question that the Orange Dumb Ass will invade Greenland in order to take it over. He has all but said so. And, he has to do it, not only in the summer season, but also before the 2026 midterms when Democrats will take over both houses of Congress.

Trump should, but probably won't, take heed of the Nuremberg trials after WWII, especially article 1 of the indictment that charges the defendants with "crimes against peace, I.e., the planning, initiating and waging of war of aggression in violation of international agreements." Most of those found guilty were hanged, and the rest received long prison sentences.

Not that that would slow Trump down. I'll give you 2 to 1 odds that he has ordered the dummy Hegseth to begin planning for the military takeover of Greenland. And, to make that possible, he is planning the exit of the United States from NATO, most of whom would come to Greenland's aid.

Why take over the government? Why not just have boat loads of American immigrants come over to stay?

I mean, have you ever seen Greenland on Google maps? Several encampments which contain a handful of shoddy cabins each, and its only city, the capital of Nuuk, has a population of just over 20,000. Only 36 other world capitals are smaller.

It's at least four times the size Texas, just eyeballing it on Google maps, and almost entirely covered by ice.
