He's destroying the relationships the US has, he's making everyone wary of the US. The US can't project world power without other countries. He can't invade Iran without the help of other countries. And yet he's making them turn away from the US.
He's now threated tariffs on anyone who disagrees with him on Greenland. He's throwing tariffs around on anyone who disagrees with him on Iran, and the US has the World Cup coming up but every country could end up being banned from the US by then too.
Trump might think he's being smart, because on the business world you can bully. But in international politics, you can't just bully everyone. They might just snap and say "forget it, we're not bothered about you any more".
Is your middle name Stupid? US will always have a trade deficit with China because of 1) Americans like cheap goods but don’t want to pay high prices, 2) government regulations made it difficult to do business, see why so many companies are leaving CA, and 3) US probably has more disposable income than any country in the world.
Trump is trying to close the widening gap which has been widening every year for the last 30 years.

Yeah and, we are already in Greenland at Pituffik Space Base (used to be Thule Air Base). We have missile warning and defense systems there protecting the country from ballistic missiles. (NORAD) The base is a strategic location in the Arctic for monitoring air and space possible attacks. Pituffic is part of a global network of satellite tracking stadions. It monitors objects in orbit.
We might as well just buy the place. We are using it, protecting it and have the technology to mine rare earth where there is receding ice.
