The 'Classified' Documents DOJ / FBI Raid Targeted ARE ALREADY UNCLASSIFIED...& They Knew It

The documents were Trump's own documents, his own writings and correspondence.
And by law he can't take them

Presidential Records Preservation Act passed when Nixon (remember him?) tried to pull a similar stunt

Your link does not refute even a single word of what I wrote. Ex-Presidents do not have declassification powers.

You are PARTIALLY correct.

EX-/FORMER Presidents can NOT declassify documents - PRESISENTS CAN.

I have posted numerous articles covering the documents, President Trump's actions, and the failed raid.

Those articles spell out the fact that PRESIDENT Trump, before leaving office, declassified not only the documents he legally took with him but also declassified Crossfire Hurricane files / documents.

1st - Yes, basic classification rules allow the PRESIDENT to declassify documents:

2ndly, 19 months ago the President of the US ordered the release of the declassified Crossfire Hurricane documents ... and the DOJ illegally refused to comply with that order! 19 months later, the DOJ Is not only still criminally refusing to release those documents they are illegally refusing to comply with the FOIA requests for the release of those Crossfire Hurricane documents THAT ARE ALREADY SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN RELEASED.

But back to your point- a former President can't declassify documents...

...but PRESIDENTS can....and PRESIDENT Trump did declassify those documents WHILE STILL IN OFFICE.

THE DOJ & FBI KNEW/ KNOWS THIS....MAKING THIS POLITICAL GESTAPO RAID ON TRUMP'S HOME UNWARRANTED (as CNN pointed out), unprecedented, historic, and criminal political abuse of power!

Doesn't matter. All the documents belong to the National Archives.

No, no they don't. In the face of all the evidence, links, articles, etc... that have been posted you continue to repeat your debunked, desperate, emotional OPINION ... which continues to be wrong no matter how many times you repeat it.

:p

It's not my opinion. None of the documents belong to Trump. They belong to the people.

Excellent Write Up Man that no doubt The DemNazi Demon Hoard will completely ignore.

There is no evidence he declassified anything in question before leaving office. It's all speculative.

What is not speculative is that President leaving the White House is subject to Presidential Records Act. He does not own documents relating to the presidency, they are public property and must be stored at national archives.

Do you refute that?
Yes there is . The national Archives has been going through those documents before the FBI raid.

What documents?

You speak as you have any clue what specific documents warrant was for. Do you know something no one else in public does?

The 13 boxes the FBI raided to get.
....wtf would boxes of documents that "national archives are going through" be doing at Mar-A-Lago?

Or are you saying they were sent to National Archives, reviewed and then RETURNED...and then confiscated by FBI through a COURT WARRANT, no less .

That story seriously makes sense in your head?
