I was telling Pixie that we played this song at my grandma's funeral last year because we knew she was experiencing just that and being reunited with all of the loved ones that had gone before her. She was a wonderful, wonderful woman who loved God more than anyone I ever knew. She was one of 8 children, and she was the last one out of her generation to go, she was 93. So, we tried to celebrate her passing, even though we all miss her terribly and mourn her loss. But, she's in a better place...

Amen.. Yes she is and what a wonderful way to go home.. Surrounded by those you love most and hearing this beautiful song which brings so much peace and joy! We did the same when my mother passed.. We sang her to heaven.. It was the sweetest moment of my life and the most broken moment.. But.. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. She was there when I took my first breath and I was there when she took her first breath in to heaven.
