I've been thinking that this section needs a random thread for memes, reels, images and stuff like that. So.... hopefully this is not a bad idea, lol.

Hmmm. I've always thought that simply meant that one witness is not enough to establish a charge against someone, there should be at least two or three witnesses.

Here's a different version:

One witness is not enough to convict anyone accused of any crime or offense they may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.​

I've never heard the idea that it has anything to do with gender... but I'll look into that. About the witnesses after Jesus' resurrection.... I think the fact that it was women who first saw Jesus gives the account more credibility, overall. Because (for the sake of argument) if someone at that time was making that all up, it would make far more sense to say that men first saw Jesus after the resurrection... you know, because people at that time likely gave more weight to the testimony of men.

Does anyone remember the Lifehouse Everything skit? It was a skit done at a church about 17 years ago, and the video went viral... not because it's anything fancy, but because of the powerful message in it that (as you can see in the comments) deeply impacts a lot of people who can relate to it. But I won't say anything more, just see for yourself.

It has to be watched the whole way through though...

I think it means two witnesses (of good report?) at the very least.

I think human beings are the ones who provide (and like) comfort zones, not God, haha. It's never fun to step outside of a comfort zone, but if God is orchestrating it, it's worth it because that's where breakthrough happens... know what I mean?
