After we quit watching the disaster "Don't Look Up" 30 minutes into it - we watched this instead.
Pretty good. A dark thriller where a past soldier who served at Abu Dhabi and struggles to deal with PTSD. In his isolation he learns the ability to count cards and runs into a son of a fallen soldier and feels compelled to help him. But it doesn't quite work out.
If you like physiological movies, you will probably like this one.
Oscar Isacc has a knack for playing fucked up/disturbed characters, and he doesn't disappoint this time either.
