The other thing no one seems to be talking about is how occupation of the Capitol Building by a few dozen—even few hundred protestors did NOTHING to slow, stop or impede the normal or effective daily function of our federal government. What it did do is disrupt challenges to state presidential election results, which no Trump supporter in his or her right mind would have wanted to be a part of.

The so-called "insurrectionists" could have occupied the Capitol for days or weeks or months and it would have achieved no change or real disruption to the function of our government. But beyond that, even more telling, are the lack of preparations taken on the part of the people who entered the actual Capitol Building. None of them arrived with food, water or other vital siege supplies adequate to last them for a long standoff with authorities. None of them (that I've seen) were armed with more than clubs or other primitive weapons. All of this is obvious and yet the media reports on none of these disparities.

As the voice in the video said, and I agree, the entire event was a planned trap for both Trump and his supporters, an event sanctioned by Democratic Party leadership, the Mayor of D.C. and very likely, Speaker Pelosi herself. Democrat leadership ordered law enforcement to bring in Antifa, open barriers around the Capitol and usher in crowds of Trump supporters and others.

With that, why didn't they get reinforcements for Capitol Police or National Guard in advance? They saw the activity in June with protestors hurling bricks, rocks, and water bottles at police. They saw protestors trying to scale the White House Fence. Without getting into Left or Right, protests turn to riots. It's one thing for the police to retreat but to open the gates and point the crowd to the entrance? All of the members were already evacuated and in safe space. Were they ever in danger?

As for the crowd, I have no doubt that many/most were right wing extremists who executed the violence. But, I also believe ANTIFA infiltrated to contribute to the violence as well. There was no way they were going to let an opportunity like this pass.
