The BBC ran a doc on this tonight. It was horrific. Night after night of people being bombed by nazi stormtroopers.

As I was watching it my mind wandered to a blitz that is happening today.

Nazi stormtroopers had nothing to do with the bombing of England. That was done by the German air force, the Luftwaffe.

I don't suppose you know anything about Hamas's tactic of using civilians as human shields? How about the grossly inflated casualty numbers coming from the usual anti-Israeli sources? What exactly are Israeli forces supposed to do when Hamas is shelling them from artillery positions that are placed next to hospitals and schools, sometimes on their roofs? What are Israeli forces supposed to do when Hamas fighters purposely mingle with civilians while attacking Israeli soldiers?

In the past, the Israelis would pull back when faced with such tactics, but not this time, not after October 7. Most of the civilian casualties have been caused by Hamas's use of the above-mentioned tactics, and the casualty numbers are not nearly as high as Hamas and some other groups are claiming.

Germany and immigrate to Palestine.

We are taught that the British were the first who started bombing civilians...deliberately because Churchill wanted Goering to take the bait and retaliate on British civilians--thus hardening their resolve not to negotiate and shoring up Churchill's power base.

Had Germany not taken the bait..England was screwed.

It was a brilliant, if somewhat morally ambiguous tactic.
