Has anyone here seen this film? Looks like good watching, about the African Americans in Watts taking control of their own community.

The only thing I'd disagree with is their adoption of a leftist platform like national socialism.

All the movies have nudity nowadays. But I like the idea of the movie with the self-help ideals the black guys picked up from the Germans.

Maybe this is the key to keeping peace in the ghetto since the police's efforts aren't either that effective or that appreciated.

I have to agree with you on that, the blacksploitation genre has a degree of funkiness you don't see in white films.

Superfly is one of my favorite films of all time.
