The "Beautiful" Budget bill in Congress right now (pushed by both Trump and Johnson), would raise National debt by $4 Trillion, if passed!

Neither is your side. But, I'd say that cutting the deficit down from over one trillion dollars per year to only 250 billion per year is heading in the right direction. Don't you?

Budget bill would add trillions to U.S. debt and increase inequality, Nobel laureate economists say

Six Nobel laureate economists said a massive budget bill passed by House lawmakers last month and backed by President Trump would weaken key safety-net programs while greatly lifting the federal debt.

The tax and spending package, which Republicans have dubbed the "one big beautiful bill," would hurt millions of Americans by slashing Medicaid and food stamps

Trump's actions of cutting spending by getting rid of many of the department's presently in place at the beginning of 2025, was supposed to get rid of much of the debt that U.S. has amassed over the past 60 years. Nonetheless and if passed, the present budget bill that Johnson has put together and that Trump supports, will add to the U.S debt by $4 Trillion. In addition, it takes away from the poor (cuts Medicaid for 7.6 to 10.3 million) and gives more money to the rich.

AI Overview

The House budget resolution being considered in Congress proposes a $4 trillion increase to the debt limit, according to PBS and McGuireWoods Consulting. This is intended to allow the Treasury to continue paying bills and avoid a federal debt default. The bill also includes provisions for tax cuts and potential cuts in other areas to offset the cost, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

AI Overview

The potential impact of President Trump's budget bill on Medicaid enrollment is significant, with estimates varying between 7.6 and 10.3 million people potentially losing coverage by 2034 if the proposed cuts and reforms are enacted.

Is this what Americans need and want?

Come on, you know the GOP only is upset about deficits when they are out of office.

It adds 4T to the debt over 10 years, far less than the pace we have been at. Wealth inequality gets worse under democrats too. It’s a fact of life.

I think you need to read the OP I put up today, which addresses and answers your question.

Musk Feedback on Trump's "Big, Beautiful Bill"
I don't remember you calling out Democrats for adding to the debt and wealth inequality, not to mention wanting to spend 50 trillion dollars on the Green New Deal. Please link to those posts.

Again, you are comparing, meaning that you believe that if the Democrats did it, Trump has the right to do it. If you believe that, then you cannot criticize the Democrats and not criticize Trump.

I criticize both parties. Your thread only criticizes Trump. But, the fact is, the Republican bill actually decreases yearly deficits by quite a bit from what they had been.

You said otherwise when you’ve said that Biden has national piggy bank. He doesn’t, Congress controls the purse.
He had a majority the first two years and spent like a drunken sailor... do libs not have memories or what?...
I know presidents can't write checks but they can sign executive orders... and they can twist arms in the house... I would say you should know this but the amount of shit you don't know tells me you may not know it....
Please read Biden's bills...
President Biden's administration has been involved in several key spending bills. Two prominent examples include the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act

Yes involved, sure, but to paint it as unilateral action of one man is stupid.

Bills were passed by Congress and the first one was strongly bi-partisan.

Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act was passed in the Senate with 69-30 votes.

Why? Because when it passed unemployment was still at almost 7%.

Inflation Reduction Act passed on partisan basis but had a very modest 200 billion budget deficit effect over 10 years.

Biden spent trillions pal... wake up....

I'm well awake to the fact that Biden supported and signed into law trillions in additional deficits.

So has every president since Regan.

Trump "spent" trillions more than Biden and if his latest "big beautiful" is passed it will be yet more trillions. Yet you have zero interest in waking up to any of that because partisanship comes before all else for tools like you.
