The BDS movement taken to it's logical conclusion.

You sound like George Will, a supporter of Apartheid South Africa. The consistency of your kind's losing mindset repeats itself. And George Will is alive to see what asshole he was, and wrong. It will be the same for you.

George Will opposing U.S. sanctions on South Africa in which he argued that ā€œthe current campaigning against South Africa is a fad, a moral Hula Hoop, fun for a while......Thanks to an oil embargo against South Africa, it is nearly self-sufficient, with the world’s best process for producing oil from coal. Thanks to an arms embargo, South Africa, which was 60 per cent dependent on imported arms 20 years ago today is 90 per cent self-sufficient and a net arms exporter."

Yawn...Answer my question regarding misplacement and gerrymandering and stop being a repetitive a$$hole.

The European colonization of Palestine was the original mistake, the gerrymandering to concentrate as many Europeans in a given area to give them a 5% majority over a portion of the native people and putting them under foreign rule was just a deceitful offshoot of the colonial project.

Bullshit...You are ignoring the misplacing and gerrymandering of the nations of the Balkans and the Middle East after WWI which has resulted in massive atrocities committed by your religion and your girlfriend's religion.

That has nothing to do with the I/P forum. The Balkans, if you have issues with the displacement of people, can be discussed in the Europe forum. Other places in the Middle East in the Middle East forum. This is the I/P forum.

Nice cop out since you turn every Jew and Israel related Thread into a South African Apartheid rant.

The issue was sanctions and the development of the sanctions movement against South Africa is a guide to how these movements develop.

Zzzzzzz still can't admit BDS has been an utter failure, a bunch of Islamists, Neo Nazis, and creeps.

Zzzzzzz still can't admit BDS has been an utter failure, a bunch of Islamists, Neo Nazis, and creeps.

While it may be as a result of social media and better communications, BDS is developing faster than the similar effort that was implemented against South Africa. Calls for disinvestment from South Africa started in the early 60s with a few European universities adhering to it, significant sanctions did not come to pass until the mid 80s. Over 20 years later. BDS started only 10 years ago.

Give it time.

BDS in South Africa – an abject failure - Boycotts, Divestments and Sanctions (BDS) - SPME Scholars for Peace in the Middle East

BDS in South Africa – an abject failure

Despite several years of lobbying by BDS to have Israeli products kept out of South Africa, and preventing government officials from visiting Israel, trade between the two countries is flourishing

You gave it time, after 10 years and hundreds of millions of dollars, BDS has gone backwards. Not only is the level of trade between China and Israel now greater than Israel and the US, but Israel is expanding it's trade relationships with various countries across the globe. And tech and medical companies are flocking to Israel greater than ever. BDS has now been banned in most American campuses. Plus, many Sunni countries like Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt are on Israel's side. It doesn't get any better, Nazi boy.

But if you want to wank yourself off to BDS's accomplishments, which are less than nothing, be my guest.

Please dig some more for us.

Israel has spent more money trying to stop BDS than BDS has ever spent. And Israel is losing. But, keep dreaming.

"Sanctions against Israel
A campaign that is gathering weight
Israel’s politicians sound rattled by the campaign to isolate their country

ONCE derided as the scheming of crackpots, the campaign for boycotts, divestment and sanctions against Israel, widely known as BDS, is turning mainstream....... Israel, says Yair Lapid, Israel’s finance minister, is approaching the same ā€œtipping pointā€ where South Africa found itself in opposition to the rest of the world in the dying days of apartheid. ā€œLet’s not kid ourselves,ā€ he told a conference of security boffins recently in Tel Aviv. ā€œThe world listens to us less and less.ā€

Our local clowns seem to believe they no more than Israel's Finance Minister. LOL

What a bunch of losers we have posting here.

So, we can agree you purposely failed to attach a link because the article later refuted your screeching?

From the article, (and note the bold text for dramatic affect):

Israel’s position as a hotbed of hi-tech start-ups is due in part to decades of circumventing Arab boycotts. A French arms ban in the 1960s sparked the development of its weapons industry, helping to catapult Israel into fourth place in the world’s league of arms exporters. And if the West turns its back on Israel, there is, they say, the east. Relations with India have warmed of late, and those with China are getting closer.

Who Is Actually Boycotting Israel? The Answer Might ...

An excerpt ( but read the whole thing, its very informative )

Quote
No one is actually boycotting Israel. Not the Europeans. Not the American Studies professors. Not Saudi Arabia. Not even Roger Waters. There is not a single human being on this planet that has access to electricity and the Internet that actually boycotts all Israeli products. How do I know this? The same way you all know it: they all have cell phones, and there isn’t a cell phone manufactured today that does not contain Israeli hardware or software, or both.

In fact, the overwhelming majority of Israeli export products are simply not susceptible to boycott. Of Israel’s top ten export categories, only two of them consist primarily of consumer products: pharmaceuticals and medical equipment. Do you really think anyone with AIDS or HIV will boycott the best HIV medications available? Or that diabetics will boycott the easiest and most painless insulin administrators, or the newly developed artificial pancreas? Will blind people really refuse to use technology that describes the world to them in real time because it was engineered by Israelis?

The list of cutting edge, top of the line medical treatments, therapeutics, vaccines and medical equipment invented and produced by Israel is immense, and most of them have no viable substitute. You either use the Israeli product or go untreated. Do you think a lot of people would choose the latter? When the chips were down, even veteran antisemite Jimmy Carter used Israeli cancer treatments. Heck, how many people really exist that would even be willing to pay triple or quadruple the price, out of pocket, to avoid a generic antibiotic that was made by Teva? I would guess not that many.

The rest of Israel’s top ten export categories are all industrial or governmental-level products, which are not purchased by individual consumers. The industrial and government level products that Israel markets are, like Israel’s pharmaceuticals, generally unique, necessary, and irreplaceable. China, India, and Africa need Israel’s agritech and water technology products to feed and water their burgeoning populations. California has no choice but to employ Israeli companies to solve its drought problems.

In the end the IBS movement ( pun intended ) is

Quote

So what does all this mean? It means we have been fighting the BDS movement all wrong. BDS cannot really hurt Israel economically. They probably spend more money promoting their ā€œboycottā€ than it actually costs Israel in lost export sales. The real goal and purpose of BDS is to defame Israel, and attempt to discredit it in the eyes of foreign observers, in order to exert political pressure. BDS demonstrations are an opportunity for them to spew antisemitic vitriol and express their vicious hatred of the Jewish state. BDS’ only real power is in propagating its hateful ideology.

Talk about a thick headed poster that can only resort to propaganda pieces and fails to read what Israeli officials are actually saying. LOL

While I have posted solid evidence of Israel growing and expanding its relations with many countries, you still haven't shown any concrete accomplishments other than the usual "sanctions are affecting Israel" mantra. So like I said before, if you want to wank yourself off to empty slogans, go ahead.
