You mean like everyone there was, before you had coal, natural gas and nuclear?

Or even hydro?

Anyway, what happened? Did the warming temperatures from burning fossil fuels weaken the polar vortex and let the cold escape to wreak a bit of havoc?

Again?

Heating oil is expensive. It was about 400 bucks a month ten years ago, I don't know what it is now. We were living in a ranch style house in NJ for a while, it's mildly snowy in the winter about the same level as NYC.

It is damned cold here. To stay warm, I just had to set my wind turbine and solar panels all on fire.

I'm terrified--- to keep the fire from dying out too quickly, I've now relented to throwing my entire collection of hand-signed Joe Biden memorial photos into the flames one by one.

Yeah oil is expensive as is baseboard heating for those older homes that still have it. Not very effective as I recall.

Darn things are made in China. Probably burn up in a flash.

I have an idea though, you could take your old unwanted tube amps and light them on fire. That would keep you warm for a while, except you'd have to open the windows for the capacitor smell.

Couldn't be said better.

The greens are the enemy.

Can you explain the Ice Age? I never hear any climate alarmists.ever talk about it. Furthermore, MSM pretends it never existed. The entire planet was once covered in a sheet of ice. This will perhaps be erased from the history books once China rules the world and demands that all nations pay them a climate fee, but whatever.

At least that would explain why Joe Biden had slanted eyes and a little pigtail.

I have an idea though, you could take your old unwanted tube amps and light them on fire.
There is no such thing as an unwanted tube amp, only tube amps in need of a good home.

That would keep you warm for a while, except you'd have to open the windows for the capacitor smell.
Not needed. I have 200 amp service here. All I need to do is plug all of them in at once, the heat alone from their all warming up is enough to boil water.

I was once contacted by NASA: they saw my IR signature from space and thought my house was a UFO.

Theres going to be a big winter storm in south central us. I bet people are running around like ants buying up stores. Kind of a spectacle.

15th post
George Washington (rolling around in his grave) and Native Americans agree (having somehow thrived here for thousands of years with no nukes, fossil fuels, nor even vacuum tubes).

Yeah but, Ol' George would have killed for a set of EL34s or even WE300Bs.

Can you explain the Ice Age?
Earths period of reduced temperature.
I never hear any climate alarmists.ever talk about it. Furthermore, MSM pretends it never existed.
Not that I've ever heard.
It's discussed in museums and history books.
The entire planet was once covered in a sheet of ice.
Yeah, so?
This will perhaps be erased from the history books once China rules the world and demands that all nations pay them a climate fee, but whatever.

Thanks? Lol. You guys are morons. What keeps me warm is money. Just like everyone else. Are you enjoying free energy somewhere? Of course not.
