The establishment cautioned him not to mess with China. They said that we owe them so much money, they could pull the plug on us anytime they want to. But as a businessman, Trump understood that it is we who have the upper hand because we buy three times as much from China as they buy from us. And the debt? Trump realized that our debt to China made them dependent on us, not the other way around. After all, we are the ones sitting on their money.



3. The establishment wanted free flow of labor and open borders. But Trump demanded that we keep illegal immigrants out. He said that if we have millions of people willing to work for very little, there’s no way the middle class can move up in wages.



4. The environmental establishment wanted to scrap fossil fuels and go to wind and solar energy. But Trump pointed out that we have worked hard for forty years to be energy independent. So why would we give that power away? Especially for solar panels that don’t work when it’s cloudy, and wind turbines that don’t turn on calm days. Instead, he said, let America be the OPEC of the future and use our energy power for democracy and human rights.



5. The legal establishment said that when illegal immigrants come over the border, they are entitled to constitutional rights. But Trump didn’t see it that way and asked Mexico to put troops on the frontier to keep them on their side of the border. Mexican president López-Obrador, a hardline leftist, asked, “Why should we?” But when Trump threatened trade sanctions, López-Obrador saw the light and deployed 28,000 troops. End of problem, and illegal immigration dried up almost entirely. And to make sure, Trump built five hundred miles of a border wall that everyone was afraid to cross.”

6. “The diplomatic establishment had always pushed for the two-state solution in the Middle East. But Trump knew that wouldn’t accomplish anything. Hamas would still want to kill Israelis. Arizona’s universal school-choice program will improve students’ educational options—public and private.


This July, Arizona became the first state to embrace universal school choice by enacting legislation that allows all students to participate in the state’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA). Approximately 12,000 students currently enroll in the ESA program, which deposits 90 percent of the state’s share of per-pupil education funds—about $7,000 per child—into an account that parents can use for various educational costs.

Qualified expenses include: private school tuition, micro-schooling, homeschooling, tutoring, and online classes.

Previously, the ESA program limited student eligibility to, for example, kids with disabilities, children attending failing public schools, children of active-duty military parents, foster children, and siblings of current or former ESA participants. With the new law, an estimated 60,000 students currently enrolled in private schools and 38,000 homeschooled students are immediately eligible for ESA funding, and 1.1 million children attending district and charter schools have the option to get funding as well."

Great post, all of it. I can't say it was a stolen election, but there was way more cheating than usual, and all of the excess cheating on behalf of one side.

The part in bold is the key. As far as I know, the GOP did nothing to prevent a repeat of 2020 in 2022. Not quite as big a deal, since the harvesters and the ballot dumpers showed little interest in downballot races. But if there is not the same level of cheating this year, the GOP may be lulled into a false sense of security. Or it may turn into the old GOP that secretly enjoyed being the opposition party, and whining about how they would change things once they got rid of Carter/Clinton/Obama/Biden.

They must act to prevent another 2020. I don't think the Republic will stand as we know it if we have another election like that.
