The American space program of the 2000s-early 2010s that Clinton, Bush, and Obama left us was anything to be excited for

A program that relies on Russian made rockets and spacecraft from the 1960s to fly Americans into low Earth orbit and requires the American to learn to speak Russian.

No wonder there was much less interest in science and engineering among 90s-2000s American kids than 1960s American kids.

A much more exciting space program would be a human return to the Moon that would pave the way to missions to Mars and the resource rich asteroid belt with a much larger astronaut corps that included good looking young but smart people as well as celebrities.

There is the "Artemis Program" now with no evidence of Russia or China being a part of it and "SpaceX", which can do anything Russia and China can do but much faster, cheaper, and better.

The question is whether Morticia could be part of the Space programme after she transitions --- nudge , wink ?

Plus, do we honestly believe that America will put men or Morticia on the Moon this time ?
