Trump has gone far beyond even the excesses we knew he could commit. He has exhibited the absolutely egocentric, self-centered, obnoxious personality we knew him to be in a form that has destroyed the image and faith in America around the world. All this was entirely foreseen by all of us who have always understood him and his lack of qualities that would make him an acceptable President. The truly incredible thing is that the only permitted "opposition" party came up with a candidate so unappealing that Trump was elected again. How could these two parties have so failed our nation?

Because the two parties don’t care about the nation or the people. They care about doing what their wealthy donors tell them to do. This is how American politics has worked for a long time.

It’s a nation for, by, and of the oligarchy, but few Americans seem to get this even though it’s obvious.

While people can argue that Trump's methods are questionable, he gets results. He’s bringing trading partners, to include China to the bargaining table. He’s getting Europe to pony up more for their defense. He created and is building upping the Abraham Accords. So called Middle East experts claimed that was impossible.

He’s restoring our border security and removing criminal illegal aliens from our communities.

Biden accomplished nothing positive. If there was any Biden success, it was in an area where he did nothing.

Trump was a failure the first time, he'll be a bigger failure this time. Even Republicans are getting sick of his shit.

When the recession breaks out, you will be surprised how many Republicans remember the 25th Amendment is a thing.

As far as performance in office and results are concerned, Biden had no successes to cite in order to claim he was competent.

His foreign policy was a complete failure. He had no domestic policy successes.

Biden is generally considered by objective observers to be one of the most incompetent president’s in U.S. history.

Biden brought back a wrecked economy, got Covid under control, restored our alliances with Europe, and rallied the world to the defense of Ukraine against Russian aggression.

Most people would consider that successful.

He probably would have beaten Trump handily if his health hadn't failed

From what I'm hearing from the Hur tapes, from what we saw of Biden during his campaigns and as president, and now his cancer diagnosis...

I can only surmise that anyone who voted for him the first time ignored any issues he was presenting at the time, and was fully willing to overlook those issues even as they became more prominent on the night of June 27th, 2024 to vote for him again, had he not been removed from the campaign.

I am deeply saddened and angered to know that people would act this way, to allow a group of advisers and handlers, and his garbage wife to parade him about as some competent, healthy leader, when in reality he was a demented, Parkonsonian, cancer-stricken old man who deserved to be treated with better care than he was. This was nothing but abuse. It was a North Korean-style misdirection campaign, for which the left fell for quite easily. It was evil, I saw. For that, I chose to vote for Trump. Well, not for Trump, but against everyone who allowed this to happen.

He was manipulated and steered about, a listless man on his own. I am appalled that people would stoop this low to maintain power over our government and over the American people, and I have lost some, if not all, respect for many people who claim to be people of God, upstanding people, who yet were willing to ignore the American disgrace, the utter atrocity unfolding in the White House.

I have lost all faith in humanity. Not after what I've seen. I will hug my grandmother even more now, knowing that I would have never and never will use her that way.

At least, his handlers blocked the tapes from being made public and the entire report because Joe was clearly unable to do much of anything.

Why then even test the cognitive ability of the President? Was it mandatory, because he failed it and they purposefully ignored it.

Biden's advanced cancer diagnosis, which is so advanced you can't convince me they did not know till now, will be used to gain sympathy for him and use that to try and silence anyone questioning the scandal that left a US President in power that was too infirm to be able to do the job.

This ranks up here with the scandal of Joe mysteriously getting some 20 million votes more than both Hillary and Kamala.

Now, I think there needs to be a complete review of how incapacitated Biden was in his last year (not as bad as the right-wing loons are making out, but still concerning), and maybe we even need to pass new laws limiting the upper age for Federal Office to 70. The case of the Congresswoman from Texas who was absent from her duties for months because she was in a dementia home, and no one said anything about it is worrisome.
