It's too bad that Hitler's humanitarian Madagascar Plan wasn't implemented before the war. Because it would have solved the Jewish problem, and we wouldn't have the Middle East problems that plague the world today. ...We're still feeling guilty that we kept turning back the Jews fleeing Hitler during WWII. What I have read is that David ben Gurion and Chaim Weizmann insisted in Palestine as the only location they would accept. But there were dozens of other better locations then the already crowded Palestine.
Beside Madagascar, there was Spain, Uruguay, Uganda, and a dozen others.
