1) Trump will likely be tied up in court proceedings and will have a hard time campaigning for President.

2) The court cases will generate so much bad publicity that even if Trump is not convicted it will be almost impossible for him to win a Presidential election.

3) All the cases and those that will be filed in the future are a warning to Presidential candidates that if you are a political outsider you must seek approval from the D.C. Swamp to run for President.
