I think that this is a useful tool for people who like this sort of thing. I was unaware of some of them. What is clear is that his cult followers are going to have to swallow a lot of humble pie to get through all of this.

Au contraire. America has a large number of crooked jurisdictions like New York state that have the ability to bring up phony cases if they want.

Further, even if Trump were crooked, the love of Freedom of the American people isn't dependent on any single individual, its hard wired into our beings. There is no apologies for loving freedom and realizing that the hero of leftards, Brandon , is a doddering old senile fool.

Donald Trump has been a much loved/much reviled figure in New York for decades. He has been sued countless times, accused by prosecutors dozens of times, and slandered endlessly by "journalists," entertainers, and sports figures.

And yet, in boxing parlance, they have never laid a glove on him.

Each time, every month or so, someone comes along and says, "THIS TIME, they really have him by the balls! THIS TIME he's going to get what's coming to him."

And still, the Yiddish word, "bupkis" comes to mind.

So rather than addressing your remarks and thoughts to Trump's SUPPORTERS, maybe the real sympathy should be directed to Trump's DETRACTORS, who have been disappointed and thwarted more times than Charlie Brown trying to kick Lucy's football.

And from all indications, when Trump goes to the grave, he will still be free, rich, loved and reviled. These people who compile these lists, and the ones who compile vacuous lists of Trump's "lies," truly need to get a life.

There are currently no charges from the insurrection committee. Surely they will pin a few on him. Destroying documents should be one of them.

Why did the totally innocent ex pres have a bonfire of official documents ? Wouldnt that make it more difficult for him to prove his innocence ?

Here in America, people don't have to "prove their innocence". That's a big difference between America and the failed nations of the old world

The only reason he could not succeed in taking the US into a solid Fascist Government with him as the annoited one is that there were to documents he could not get completely around; The Constitution of the United States and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Two things that no other country has at it's disposal.

6. Controlled Mass Media​

Sometimes the media are directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media are indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

7. Obsession with National Security​

Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

8. Religion and Government are Intertwined​

Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. 10. Labor Power is Suppressed​

Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts​

Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free _expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.

12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment​

Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations

13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption​

Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

14. Fraudulent Elections​

Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.
