Federal agents in Portland involved in shooting of two people, police say
Federal agents in Portland, Oregon, were involved in a shooting Thursday afternoon that sent a man and a woman to the hospital, Portland Police said.The shooting occurred a day after a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent shot and killed a 37-year-old woman, Renee Nicole Good, as she was driving away in an SUV in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
“We are still in the early stages of this incident,” said Portland Police Chief Bob Day in a statement, which did not identify the federal agency whose officers were involved in the shooting, or what led to it.
“We understand the heightened emotion and tension many are feeling in the wake of the shooting in Minneapolis, but I am asking the community to remain calm as we work to learn more,” Day said.
After the gross factual errors members of the regime made yesterday in speaking about the twin city shooting before the facts were known, I won't make the same mistake.
IMO, this sort of thing is exactly what trump wants in order to invoke the Insurrection Act.
