It's nice to hear people say thanks for what you did. But what I'd like to see more is the government take better care of it's vet's. Especially it's service connected disabled vets.

In the brief time I have been on these boards, I have received many thanks for my service and the service of my sons - one in Afganistan and the one currently in Iraq.

Most Vets don't necessarily want thanks, just recognition and what is due us per the terms of our enlistment contracts.

If anyone wants to "thank" us, they can do so by simply supporting the troops when called upon and not electing idiots to office that will continue to take this nation down the shitter and further erode the country we all served for.
