When the pandemic hit, and Amarillo went into lockdown mode, gas prices dropped all the way down to 1.32, and stayed there for a week or two. As time went on and restrictions started to be lifted, the gas prices slowly rose. Now? Last time I checked, gas was at around 2.30/gal. No, I don't blame Biden, I blame the oil company executives who ACTUALLY control the prices. When nobody was using their product, gas prices dropped. When people started driving around and needing gas again? Prices went up.
