Why should "capital equipment" be tax exempt? Who decided that was a sound idea?

I asked you how it was a rip off. Please explain. Why would a business need to pay a tax on items it purchases to do business?

dear, when a business purchases something for a penny or $1 million it incurs a expense that is subtracted from revenue to yield profit.
It then pays taxes as a % of that profit. There is no dispute on the matter.

liberals hate business and want to use it as a cash cow for their welfare programs, conservatives want to leave business alone so the free market will improve our standard of living at the fastest rate possible.
