Dude I couldn't agree more.... I mean how awesome was a 1959 Chevy Impala and I'm not even a Chevy guy!! The fact is for over 50 years now Americans love their big cars and now on top of that it's SUVs too..... now they'll just sell more of them.

I don't see the gas mileage rules as being about global warming but rather the continuation of America's campaign over the last 45 years for energy independence, going back to the very real 1973 oil crisis.
