Even when they knew that Thalidomide was doing to the babies they pushed it to make sure people would continue use it. Totally unaware of what it would do to their children the parents of these victims trusted the medical community. I watched something on Netflex awhile back on Thalidomide survivors. Many of them were in the UK.

Yes many that have survived that are in this video are in the UK and Canada. One in Germany and they put in the translation for we would know her story too. It also tells the originator of the drug and that is enough to really piss one off. To think a mass murderer only got four years and then was released to wreak havoc with this devastating drug really is irritating.

It is still being used for certain applications. Since it is FDA approved some of the other countries use it and not always for the specific purpose in which approval by FDA was made as those countries have lax regulatory agencies.

It is available. And used in extreme cases of cancer. And Leprosy. Not morning sickness. Any Doctor who prescribed it for morning sickness would lose their license in a blink of an eye. The FDA and DEA monitor prescriptions by computer now.
