Texas Town of Mckinney OKs $63 Million HS Football Stadium

Only a handful of the HS players are going to be good enough to go on to college on scholarships. So one could ask if the vast majority of the student of these three HS's that will use this facility will benefit towards making THEIR non football futures better.

If these communities have the money to keep their schools physically constructed soundly and full of books and teachers and this expensive facility is just icing on the cake then why not? If the schools are shortchanged to build this stadium it is the obviously a poor use of a public bond.

It's a district facility that will be used for decades by 3 high schools for numerous sports. It will also hold huge events...like concerts and conventions....which generate revenue.

This is a huge investment which can also generate revenue...not to mention the invaluable and priceless experience athletics gives to build character in our kids. Which....these days....they won't get outside of sports or the military.

When you live here you understand.

So if the tax payers want a big time stadium, willing to pay for it, what business is it of yours? The problem is liberals feel they have a right to meddle in everyone's business. F em.

You obviously do not understand Texas culture and the sacred place that football holds within it.
