Thoughts here? Local law enforcement worried about open border and ISIS coming across. He has vowed to protect his domain.

Are more people worried about ISIS or Islamo sanctioned terrorist attacks on US soil or are people more concerned with a Sheriff defending the border?

Could be a little grandstanding on his part or he could make terrorists think twice about going through South TX with all of those wackos who will not hesitate to shoot. Fear and uncertainty make for great security. Myself, I am in NYC and DC all of the time. It is only a matter of when the first ISIS ordered beheading occurs in one of these two cities. We've already seen it in London and Ottawa.

What will make them think twice is there are more than 18,500 Border Patrol agents along the very short Mexican border.

There are fewer than 400 on our Canadian border.

Yes, I do agree that there may well be attacks in major US cities. But, not in a small Texasss town.
