Now suddenly a fetus isn't a person.

SMH

A prison guard says she was forced to stay at her post during labor pains. Texas is fighting compensation for her stillbirth.
The seven-months-pregnant officer reported contraction-like pains at work, but said she wasn’t allowed to leave for hours. The anti-abortion state is fighting her lawsuit, in part by saying her fetus didn’t clearly have rights.

This is a puzzle isnt ?

A pregnant woman felt ill in work but was refused permission to go to hospital. Hours later she was allowed but the the baby was still born.

She is suing the state which is perfectly reasonable.

But for some reason the state has changed its stance on foetus rights. In this case they are arguing that the unborn have no rights.

I am not sure how it works in Texas. But over here mlearned friends would describe that as a conflict.
You cant have it both ways.

Completely irrelevant to the abortion issue.

The entire argument in Texas against abortion, is that a foetus has the right to life. In this case, the state is saying that a foetus doesn’t have any rights.

If a foetus doesn’t have rights, then her suit fails and abortion should be legal this woman’s suit should prevail, but if the foetus doesn’t have rights and abortion should be legal.

Sorry bout that,

1. She had a responsibility to take good care of her baby, she worked in a mans prison for heavens sake, she was uncaring towards her baby which shall be proven in a Texas Court, she wasn't a prisoner too.
